What is this book about? |
.Marriage is intended to be a reflection of God's character, and a replica of Christ's relationship with His Church, yet many in Christian marriages suffer in loneliness, isolation, desperation and all forms of abuse. The bad news is the grave crisis of broken Christian marriages and a shattered church. The good news is that a response of accountability, repentance and pursuit of holiness gives us the opportunity to be a greater redemptive force in the world. |

Our book reveals how, rather than encouraging God's standard for marriage, some of our most popular Christian authors promote our marriage crisis by twisting biblical truth to endorse acceptance of crippling stereotypes, double standards and ungodly behavior. Some sweep our marital crisis under the carpet, or teach that it stems from feminism and various harbingers of our deteriorating society. As long as we believe this over-simplification of the crisis and blame others, we will never find a solution. Revival is desperately needed in Christianity, and we hope this book serves to invigorate the Church. Until we move beyond the lukewarm non- scriptural version of Christianity being taught, we will not become the holy men and women God has intended us to be. We will remain in our Christian marriage crisis. |

The ultimate purpose of our book is revival, as we urge others to claim God's promises and reject excuses. |
