Dr. Annie Bukacek is an internal medicine physician who has done public speaking and/or writing about diabetes, osteoporosis, attention deficit and women’s health issues. She has written a book about weight loss, and her diabetes quality assurance efforts launched a program that is being used nation-wide. Because of her quality assurance work, she was chosen by the American Board of Internal Medicine as one of six physician consultants regarding its Diabetes Practice Improvement Model. Asked to leave a physician group practice because she refused to stop praying with patients, she started her own clinic that is flourishing. Her number one passion is steadfast obedience to Christ’s commandments, and her ultimate goal in life is to be a holy witness to His love, majesty and transforming power. Dr. David Juroe for more than 25 years was a California licensed Psychotherapist in private practice and is now semi-retired. He holds a PhD. in Clinical Psychology and taught in this field at the University of California at Riverside and at several colleges. He also taught Hebrew and Biblical Studies in a theological seminary. He is an ordained minister, having served several churches in the East and a number of interim pastorships in California and Montana. He has written and edited a number of books including, “The Work Trap” with Ted W. Engstrom, “Successful Stepparenting” with his wife, “Money, How to Spend Less and Have More” and the brilliant, popular book, “Lovers of Ourselves” which is an expose of narcissism. He has also been a ghostwriter for other authors. He has been elected to “Who’s Who” in California, and he and his wife are the founders of “Stepparent’s Day” in America Dr. Juroe continues to lecture on college campuses, in churches and civic clubs.
